Scriptura is one of my favorite little stores in New Orleans to replenish my writing journals each year. I used to live so close to this store that I could walk to it. (Talk about dangerous for the budget.) This weekend, I found this beauty of a journal and could not resist! I cannot wait to fill it with my new book! And we well know that as readers and writers, the next best thing to books and bookmarks are lovely almost-too-pretty-to-write-in-journals! Not looking for a journal? I bought this miniature framed piece from an artist on Etsy and have three of her pieces now. Beautiful and wonderful for inspiration for the writer!

5. Flexispot Desk Bike!

Yes, I have listed this one twice in a year. BUT, since I bought it in November 2022 , I have biked over 1800 MILES. And I am not a biker. However, this desk bike has been amazing.

From reading to writing, or casually scrolling on social media, this desk bike has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my writing.
