Endorser Spotlight: Carolyn Miller

Carolyn Miller

I have long been a fan of Carolyn Miller’s Regency stories that transport the reader to another time! This year, I paused my usual Historical reads to pick up Carolyn’s contemporary romance, Checked Impressions, my very first HOCKEY ROMANCE read. Because of Carolyn, I have read 9 hockey books in two months, most of them hers! She is a gifted story teller with a heart for Jesus.

Today, I am THRILLED to share with you what Carolyn Miller has to say about my upcoming release, To Catch a Coronet, the FIRST book in my Best Laid Plan’s series!! Thank you so much, Carolyn, for your lovely endorsement!!

Carolyn Miller is an Australian author of inspirational historical romance, particularly that of the Regency era, and loves creating worlds where flawed people can grow in faith, hope and love. Find out more about Carolyn’s books HERE!

About one of my favorite Regency Romance’s from Carolyn Miller, Dawn’s Untrodden Green

Not much happens in Theodosia Stapleton’s tiny Northumberland town. Certainly not to her. She has resigned herself to spinsterhood, caring for her ailing mother in the home of her grandfather the general. When her dear friend dies and leaves behind a daughter, it’s simple enough to take the child into her own quiet world. That is, until her ward’s famous uncle unexpectedly arrives and throws Theo’s tidy orbit completely off-kilter.

Fame was the last thing Daniel Balfour sought when he fought in the Peninsular War. But his brave exploits caught the attention of the King, and now the honors he was given hound him everywhere . . . even on his rushed trip to rescue his orphaned niece.

Theo’s quick wit and warm smile quickly reassure him that Rebecca is in good hands. He finds himself free to swiftly return to London and his responsibilities. But those caring hands are beginning to look like they could also safely hold his heart, and he’s tempted to linger. Unfortunately, marriage is simply not in the cards; the army is spouse enough for him.

Then an accident and a scandal lead both Theo and Daniel to discover that their best-laid plans may not have been what God designed for them after all . . .

Grace’s Thoughts:

Highly entertaining, refreshing, and witty—readers will thoroughly enjoy the banter between the wallflower and her captain in this beautifully written, delightful, and faith-filled romance of two endearing hearts.

FIVE stars! Page-turner! Inspirational! Realistic! Original! Tear-jerker! Tragic! Romantic! Happily Ever After! Wonderful characters! Haunting! Humorous!

If you haven’t read any of Carolyn’s novels yet, you MUST pick up her Regency Romance, Dawn’s Untrodden Green. If you are a HOCKEY ROMANCE reader, Checked Impressions is a must-read! Even if you aren’t necessarily a hockey fan, Carolyn will make you one just like she did me!
