Endorser Spotlight: Rebekah Millet

So, when I tell the full story on how I met Rebekah, I sound like an online stalker. The safer version is that I prayed for a writer friend in my area (which is true). Okay, on to the stalker part. I have been following Rebekah as an avid reader for years because she always gave great book recommendations (and still does!). One day, I noticed she posted something about beignets. As a fellow avid beignet consumer, I clicked on the post and saw a second post of the famous live oaks on Lake Ponchartrain!!! Right where I lived. Then, she announced she was writing in the same house as me! I messaged her. Not only was she from my area, but she attends my church!!! The same church I have been a member at for twenty years. CRAZY. God answered my prayers for a new writer friend! A few times a year, we love to meet up for coffee to chat and connect and I love her books! Speaking of her books, now that I’ve gotten through my confession of how I sound like Rebekah’s stalker, you have to read her series, Beignets for Two!!
My Thoughts on Kate Landry Has a Plan:
Laugh out loud good! I LOVED book one in the Beignets for Two series, and Kate Landry Has a Plan was so expertly penned that I literally forgot that the characters were only characters and not real people at multiple moments while reading. Such an endearing story with life-like characters that have you cheering for the love interests! This second-chance romance, Found Family, and friends-to-lovers RomCom is a MUST read!!
Rebekah Millet grew up on beignets and cafe au lait, and loves infusing her colorful New Orleans culture into her stories. Her husband is an answer to prayer who puts up with her rearranging furniture and being a serial plant killer. Her two sons keep her laughing and share in her love of desserts. Extra time is spent target shooting, reading, and fangirling over favorite authors on social media. As a reader she enjoy inspirational romances, mysteries, classics, and biographies on people from King Henry VIII to Andre Agassi. Find out more about her at RebekahMillet.com

About one of my favorite RomComs from Rebekah Millet, Kate Landry Has a Plan
I turned to him, and he winked at me. Winked! We needed clear lines in place between us. We would not be flirty friends. We’d be friends, period. The sooner I made that distinction, the better.
Forty-year-old Kate Landry’s carefully planned life has become as messy as the powdered sugar on her famous beignets. Juggling the responsibilities of running her café, raising her teenage niece, and the emotional baggage from her breakup, Kate finds her world once again turned upside down when her first-ever crush, Micah Guidry, returns to town as the hunky local librarian.
As Kate struggles to implement her plans to expand her café amid the New Orleans Mardi Gras madness and the meddling of her conniving ex-fiancé, Micah becomes the unwitting hero of her misadventures, stirring up feelings she thought she’d long buried. How can falling in love in the Big Easy be this hard?
