His Delightful Lady Delia is NOW AVAILABLE!
It’s HIS DELIGHTFUL LADY DELIA ‘s book birthday, the FINAL BOOK in the American Royalty series from Bethany House Publishers!
I shall sound like a crazed author with this confession, but this series began with a dream, a literal dream haha, where I awoke and wrote out the plot that became My Dear Miss Dupré that flowed into Her Darling Mr. Day to at last conclude with His Delightful Lady Delia.
This book was written during a time of great change, blessing, heartbreak, which led to my novel’s dedication, healing, trusting God, and joy. It’s always funny to look back on a book I’ve written and see the themes I was working through somehow make an appearance (though in completely different ways than in my life) in the novel.
I absolutely love Kit’s journey to find love. Delia was a surprise and joy to write and I cannot wait for you all to read their love story.
In order to make this book a success, I need your help!
Please consider ordering a copy for you and/or your friend and request a copy at your local library! And a special thank you to those of you who have already posted and shared about His Delightful Lady Delia on your social media accounts. I love seeing Lady Delia out and about in readers’ hands!!! Thank you for all your wonderful support, friends!!
About the book!
Behind the curtain, she must put on the performance of a lifetime . . . while love and risk take center stage.
Delia Vittoria‘s mother has lost her voice at last. After five years of being her diva mother’s understudy, it is time for Delia to assume her place as the lead soprano on stage behind the Academy of Music’s faded velvet curtain. And she is all that stands between the Academy and its greatest threat–the nouveaux riche’s lavish new Metropolitan Opera House.
Kit Quincy never misses opening night, but when his sister begs him to help get her husband out of an Italian opera star’s arms, Kit confronts the wrong Lady Vittoria. When he happens upon the stunning young diva again at Mrs. Astor’s dinner the following night, he attempts to make amends and is instead pulled into a plot to win the great opera war. To draw attention to Delia Vittoria as the new soprano star, Kit is convinced to act as both Delia’s patron and the enigmatic phantom who once haunted the Academy years ago. But when a second phantom appears, more than Delia’s rising career is threatened.

Praise for His Delightful Lady Delia:
“His Delightful Lady Delia is full of yearning and humor and just the right touch of old-fashioned Victorian melodrama.”–SARAH SUNDIN, bestselling author of Until the Leaves Fall in Paris

Praise for Her Darling Mr. Day:
“Her Darling Mr. Day is a delightful and charming romantic romp. Grace Hitchcock has created wonderful characters who face mystery and adventure while falling in love. I know my readers will find this novel as endearing as I did and highly recommend it.”
Tracie Peterson, bestselling author of the Ladies of the Lake series
“Grace Hitchcock does an excellent job of weaving history of the era and Louisiana region into the romance with well-drawn characters, who came alive in their first scene and stole their way into this reader’s heart. A gutsy heroine with determination to spare, trapped in society’s rules of the day, had me cheering for her from the beginning. Her Darling Mr. Day kept me reading when other things needed doing.”
Lauraine Snelling, bestselling author of the Red River of the North series
Praise for My Dear Miss Dupré:
“Delightfully original! Set during the glittering Gilded Age, My Dear Miss Dupré is a captivating story that will charm readers from the first page until the last. Grace Hitchcock is a writer to watch!” ~ JEN TURANO, USA Today Bestselling Author
“Sparkling with vivacious energy, this romance launches Hitchcock’s American Royalty series. Here nineteenth- century etiquette brings propriety to the entanglements of wooing and winning in love, and the theme of individual integrity underscores the charades of an enchanting cast of contestants.” ~ BOOKLIST
Praise for The White City:
“In 1893 Chicago, the World’s Fair brings excitement to residents and visitors, and danger to a group of young ladies in this rousing solo debut novel [. . .] Hitchcock keeps the pace quick and tension high as the characters face dangers both physical and emotional. Readers will enjoy the snappy dialogue, vivid depictions of the famous World’s Fair, and the surprising historical details.” ~ Publishers Weekly
“A delightful debut! Bursting with intrigue, romance, and historical tidbits that bring Chicago during the Gilded Age to vivid life, The White City is a story that’s certainly destined for the keeper shelf.” ~ Jen Turano, USA Today Bestselling Author
Praise for The Gray Chamber:
“With beautiful description and shiver-worthy scenes, Grace Hitchcock has penned an incredible fiction story based on true history. The Gray Chamber was a fascinating and chilling read. Edyth’s story had me glued to the pages. But as I journeyed with the heiress and her eccentricities, the greed of her family which saw her locked up in an asylum against her will made me grateful for the freedoms I have today. And made me pray that my voice would never be silenced. The nightmare was brought to life so vividly that I found myself holding my breath and then cheering on Bane as he never gave up on Edyth. This is a story that will stick with me for a long time [. . .]” ~Kimberley Woodhouse – Carol-Award winning and Best-Selling Author of more than twenty books, including: The Mayflower Bride
